Best Hacker Movies and Series

Some shows about hacking where hackers did not fake it. The hacking shown used real world concepts and is good to be believed. Anyone familiar with concepts of hacking will certainly say that these were the best.

Mr. Robot

Starring Rami Malek as Elliot Alderson. Elliot Alderson is the name(may not be the actual name of the person) of a real hacker, don't believe me, search the name on twitter or wherever. But story of Mr. Robot may not be the same as his real life(who knows!), though there were many inclusions of the events of the real world, that make story interesting. Mention of real world events in a fiction is used in many stories by authors to make the content engaging and relatable. The plot of the show is great whatsoever. The show is now available online on Amazon prime and other TV networks.

Blackhat

Starring Chris Hemsworth. The movie is about a blackhat hacker released from prison in order to help the governments tackle cyberterrorist. It includes terminals, programming and other stuff to produce effect of real hacking. The story is mind blowing and worth the time.

Searching

Well this is not a hardcore hack movie but it involves a father accessing his daughter's online accounts to solve the mystery of her missing. Not relying on police investigation alone, he tries to do his part and ultimately solved the mystery. Overall its a great movie.
